Trying to locate a song....help please!

Discussion in 'Music' started by aw001, Jan 21, 2012.

  1. Hi everyone,

I recently spent some time in a PRU and took part in a fab singing session which included a rendition of a song that I think was called 'My Aunties green machine'.
Has anyone ever heard of this song and if so, do you have any ideas where I can get any information about it? I was hoping to use this in a future session?!?

    Yours hopefully

    Andrea

  2. I remember singing that at primary school!

    Something like (completely from memory):

My auntie may had a wonderful machine,

the bits that were not rusted you could see were painted green

nobody knew what that great machine was for

although she kept it out in the shed for fifty years or more

it went whizz, bang, bomb ting,

    every single day

    whizz, bang, bomb ting,

    every single day

    wizz, bang, bomb ting,

    every single day

    that wonderful green machine.

If you google it, you should hopefully find something. I've probably remembered most of it wrong.
