This is both funny but really worrying...
we know hes bizarre but he’s totally off the scale here...
I just put my head in my hands in despair. It's like watching a train crash.
The most powerful man in the Western World.
I bet the interviewer couldn’t believe his luck!
Shockingly thick man ... Trump that is!
So dense, light bends round him!
i'm eagerly awaiting the Sarah Cooper version.
Around 10 minutes in he mentions that nobody has done it like the US has done it, because in other countries they’re only testing when people get sick....
I have some sympathy with this view.
I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing so I found a transcript:
It is easier to read than to watch. I know with the election coming up he needs to get out there but he's like a Victorian child: should be seen and not heard.
If Trump loses the election this year I suspect I will experience the same sense of euphoria I felt when Blair got in in 1997.
Not thought of it like that but yes I think you are right.
I watched this interview with his niece the other day - she wrote a book about him. She's a clinical psychologist.
Mary Trump's book is a fascinating read. It explains a lot about her uncle's character and actions, although there's a strong possibility of sour grapes too. It's a relatively easy read, and not terribly long: one good rainy afternoon is all you need. Definitely an easier task than John Bolton's book - though that's worth a try too.
The section I saw on the BBC News last night, where he has some simple charts which he claims show he has done well is extraordinary. I'm no mathematician, but even I can understand a bar chart and a graph with four lines on it. I'm not sure he's even looked at the charts before the interview. About 13 minutes through.
I realise one would expect conviction and confidence in a US President, but the way Trump claims he personally rescued the US from catastrophe (N.B. the use of first person throughout the interview) is something else.
Waiting for his usual defenders on here to come along and say that this is somehow biased, Marxist and antifa propaganda...
When he brought out those charts - which he clearly hadn't looked at and didn't understand.
You got a profound realization that he shouldn't be in charge.
