We are taking 48 year 10 students to Germany in July and have a day in Cologne. We are visiting the sports museum and chocolate museum in the morning, followed by the cathedral after lunch. After having been to the cathedral we wanted to give students time in Cologne to look around the shops and buy souvenirs, however we are not able to do this as they have to be supervised, and they would not want to be chaperoned around the shops. We therefore need a new activity for the afternoon. The tour company we are using has suggested mini-golf, however I'd rather they do something that they could not do here, but we don't really want to take them to another museum. Does anybody have any suggestions in or near Cologne?
