    Exercise 11:3 page 246 Question 5 on Frank is repairing lighthouses.
    Does anyone have the answer to this question please?

    Thank you so much for this. I wish I had logged on during my lesson today as I would have seen your workings. I have left my notes in school so will check them tomorrow and see where I have gone wrong.
    My Year 10's have really enjoyed doing the exercise on bearings/trig from the Key Maths book.
    They did it as a group after a few lessons on trig and a revision lesson on bearings. Each group of six students were given one of the questions to tackle without any guidance. The question posted is the only one that stumped us.
    I love the "dot" questions in Key Maths books.
