    In Tunisia my daughter and I dined on 'Crudeness of the Season' washed down with 'Vin de Mess'!
    I kid you not!
     
  2. Haha these make me laugh too!

    My friend was in Valencia and was laughing at the translation of patatas bravas - "brave potatoes cooked in the frying pan."

    When I was last in Majorca instead of starters there were 'incomings' and my parents recently ordered a portion of "well educated mushrooms" on their last holiday.

    Hilarious!

    On holiday in Austria, the hotel offered a starter of 'luke warm soup of local fungus'which sounded less than appetizing!
