Hi, I feel it's time for me to move on to another setting. I have been in this setting for 5 years now, things are changing and issues in the workplace are making me feel that it's time for me to move which I have been postponing for the last two years. But I am worried about the transition, can anyone share their experience? Thank you

I'm not sure what you mean by transition?

Do you mean the practicalities or the emotional side of things?

If you're feeling it's the right thing to do, then the process will be worth it!

It's a sad fact of working in schools (and, for all I know, elsewhere a well) that 10 minutes after you've left (I exaggerate, but only slightly) you are forgotten. Even by colleagues you worked with for years. (I worked in more than 10 schools over 30 years).

Sorry worry not. Look forward, not back - a new job will keep you busy!
