Transition point 2

  1. hello
    i was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to send me an example of transition point 2 i have search the internet and no luck, i have done point 1, and plan on link them together, Im would just like to read an example to make it clear that I'm completing it correctly.

    Look back at your TP1 - are the targets and weaknesses you put down being worked on to your satisfaction?
    Has anything come up in the last few months that you feel you need to improve on? Do you need support in certain areas or training on something?

I only started my NQT after xmas and my point 1 has a main focus on a VLE and home learning but the school I'm working at does not have this as it is an SEN school so my targets are a little off. do i need to make new target? that i can meet as the VLE will not be something that i will see this term.
  4. I am in exactly the same position. I moved from a GTP in a regular Secondary school to NQT in a Special school, therefore most of my transition point one is not relevant. Have you got the CEDP booklet? Here is a link http://www.tda.gov.uk/~/media/Publications/cepd_2011-12_tda0876.pdf.
    Transition Point 2 should be drawn up during discussions with your induction tutor, so you should not have to do it yourself anyway. I have used some targets set for me in my lesson observations as well as some specific to the specialist setting I am now in. One of the questions in the CEDP booklet is "How have your priorities changed since transition point 1?" so changes are common and to be expected.
