  1. Is there any other way to get into teaching without the PGCE?
I mean, if I don't finish the PGCE, can I still get a job in education? or would I still need a qualification in education ultimately?

You could become a TA. A Lab techician. If you have a degree you might get a job in a private school. In fact in some private schools you may get a job if you have a few O levels and know someone who already works there1 ( I kid not)!

q: why might you not finish your PGCE?
if you are in danger of not passing, you might want to question whether school/teaching is the right place for you
