I’m simply astonished that anti-mask protesters are packing Trafalgar Square. A super spreader event. What is the matter with them?

I know right? If only they were BLM or XR protestors it would be fine!

    Thick.

Can't do much about that at the level it's presenting at.

A clear far-right contingent there too.

    Absolute *****

Why are anti-mask protests a nono, but BLM protests are a yesyes?

Because this lot are not wearing masks, not social distancing and are intent on provoking the police.

Was there a BLM protest queued up in The Mall, or something?

Qanon? I read an article the other day that said they are making headway in the UK now. I sometime wonder if it wouldn't be more sensible to circuit break the Internet for a few years and go back to how life used to be without all this nonsense, then start the Internet again sensibly.

Just the usual racist thugs. I'm sure there will be a contingent of Qanon tools.

No doubt including David Icke and that fool Piers Corbyn (if he has found his way back from Cornwall).

I presume you’re ok with not wearing masks, spreading the virus and provoking the police then? Did they have permission for this protest? I pity the NHS staff who will have to treat them in hospital when they are admitted with Covid 19. A lot look particularly vulnerable given their age and size.

I just thought there was blanket condemnation of mass gatherings of people squashed together in close proximity. :)

The height of selfishness was the Extinction Rebellion and Black Lives Matter protests - many people were not wearing masks or social distancing. Very little coverage of this aspect by the Biased Broadcasting Corporation, but then we have come to expect this. I feel very sorry for the police who have to put themselves in danger on these occasions to do their jobs - as they do every night in town centres, dealing with drunken yobs.

    Anti-vaxxers and covid sceptics mainly

Tommy Robinson, obviously, and a good number of "patriots" too.

People spraying swastikas on Coronavirus notices.

The Daily Mail are, in characteristic penmanship, portraying it as a pigeon-based version of Roald Dahl's the Magic Finger...
" ... angry demonstrators defying coronavirus laws against mass gatherings as they descended upon Nelson's column in central London in their droves."
Thus forcing the pigeons aground to wear aprons and vend overpriced burgers from illegally parked vans.
