You need to get an offline browser/website ripper program such as BlackWidow (http://www.softbytelabs.com/Frames.html). You can then set it to download all files of type .ppt from a particular webpage/site. It will grab the lot in one go but may take a while on this site as there is a lot of powerpoint files.

P.S. a tip for searching Google for powerpoints is to type say:

    pythagoras filtype:ppt

Your search results will only be powerpoint files.

  8. If Wadma would like to contact Dave Elgin at Dundee High School I could let them have what they need on a disc. Save them the trouble of saving one by one. Would need a disc from them.

  9. TRY the all new maths website www.ukmaths.com for lessons, interactive worksheets and printable worksheets, mathematics games.

I asked on another thread started by this poster why a link had been posted for this site which to date has no content at all.

    I received no reply.

  12. Getting your website address onto other webpages is a good way to quickly get picked up by search engines. Maybe that's the motivation for early post???

  13. or maybe they dont actually know what they are doing ????

    Message number 117.

Well I never thought we would get so many messages for such a simple idea.

Can I now declare this thread closed as some people seem to have lost track of what it was for in the first place.

Thanks to everyone who made positive contributions, some fantastic resources and ideas.

    Thanks again, enjoy half term.

Good idea rusty. Even though Tandy has put the spreadsheet on emaths it would still be a good idea to have a thread where we can post any new sites we find.
