Tofu ideas?

  1. It takes on flavours well as it is very bland. Stir fried with chillies, garlic and ginger is good. I like it! What's in the halloumi burger recipe out of interest?

    My advice would be to bin it, vile stuff. Sorry I am no help.

    Pour hot water over it and leave it for 15 minutes to firm it up a little. Then stir-fry (not too briskly, or it'll break up), with chilli, garlic, sichuan peppercorns and soy sauce. Eat with noodles stir-fried with beansprouts and sesame oil.
     
  4. I like to marinate it in honey and soya sauce, then toss in sesame seeds and quicky stir fry with some chilli and ginger.
    I find it a bit bland if you don't add some "pazazz".
     
  5. This is of no use now probably because it's too late but oh well I'm typing it anyway. I cooked it only yesterday actually. Very tasty with chilli bean sauce, soy sauce, sliced up pork, ginger. [​IMG]
