To party or not?

Should year 6 have a party after the end of key stage tests?

On the Friday of test week we have a day of activities the children have chosen. For example, PE and Art. We have cakes and cheer that the tests are over.

I can't see how Year 6 test week is normal. We have to open sealed tests. Moderators turn up and sit in the classroom.

I have known year 6 cohorts to have a 'PE Day' at a local park, so it's not an all-out party, but is instead something fun that can still have a curriculum link.

Nicky Morgan was the reason I started this thread. They should stop telling teachers how to do their job.
I know year 6. They are not stupid.
She is just trying to spin her party line. Why do politicians think we are just going to soak up their spin? Just because they keep saying it does not mean it's true.
