Tips on visiting a school prior to applying for a job

Discussion in 'Workplace dilemmas' started by rkiernan, Apr 29, 2012.

  1. Hi, I've not really posted on the forums before so I'm hoping this is in the right place!

I am visiting a school on Tuesday (which I absolutely love the look of!) to have a tour etc prior to applying for a class teacher position. Although I've worked in a school for almost 2 years, I've never visited one before applying so I was wondering if anyone had an expertise they cared to share? Any tips on what to do/expect? Or is it just the common sense things really?

    Many thanks!

And come over to the JobSeekers Forum, read the Welcome thread, have a browse. All good stuff to help you get that job!
    Best wishes
