Hi, wondered if anyone can help please - is it possible at all to have (on sibelius) more than one time sig going concurrently e.g a trumpet playing in 3/4 whilst a trombone is in 5/4?
If so, how is it done?
    Thank you
  2. Hi,
I'm currently on 7 but I believe the same options should be there.

So, create a bar that is 6/4 long, delete the time signature but don't agree to "re-write following bars"
Then in the "create text" menu there should be an option to "create time signature - one staff only" this might not be in the right click menu but it is around somewhere! I went to the shortcuts menu and made my own shortcut for it.

Once you've done that you'll have to double delete the extra rest in the 5/4 bar and put a fake bar line in the 6/4 bar (symbols menu I believe).
It can end up untidy and it's not mega easy, but it is possible.

Failing that, I'd use pen and paper, Sibelius doesn't appreciate unconventional writing...

    Hope that helps!
