Threshold 2011

Discussion in 'Primary' started by FWycherley, May 20, 2011.

  1. Hi, is there anyone here that could tell me about what kind of evidence is needed for each of the standards for this years threshold? It seems that the standards are written in such a way that it requires a lot of information eg

    P1 Contribute
significantly, where appropriate, to implementing workplace policies and
practice and to promoting collective responsibility for their implementation.</font>

What does this mean? What examples are they looking for? If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
  2. Hi there,
You shouldn't have to produce any evidence for the standards as they should be built in to the last 2 years performance management.
However, the evidence a HT might be looking for is.....
Reviewing & amending subject policies and then monitoring their implementation.
    Developing new policies.
When we implemented the creative curriculum I had to produce a policy for that and the monitor it.
    Hope this helps

as clatkiu mentions implementing subject policies but also behaviour management, SEN, Internet Use, Assessment etc etc, contributing to working parties or even whole staff policy development in meetings or making individual contributions, doing all of the above within a Phase/year group team.
  4. Thank you
