I'm still enjoying it - I really do feel completely unstressed so far this year.

I'm having a good time too so far.

With the exception of the marking workload which I can manage (but I feel like a marking machine)

I can live with the marking. Other things in the school are much improved from a year ago.

Not so bad here either. Busy and too much to do but nice kids and supportive staff.

Glad everyone is ok! I’m enjoying it too and am getting used to my new year group. I’ve managed to sort my workload out a little and am even going ‘up London’ tonight. Will restrict myself to two hours maximum of looking over the week ahead tomorrow. X

PS I have worked very long hours Monday to Friday though but I’m trying to reduce that.

I have rarely felt more relaxed about school than I do at present

Horrible where I am, as I've posted over on Workplace Dilemmas, but pleased others on the forum are OK.

Three years ago I would never have posted as I have - awful school, non-existent leadership, terrible behaviour, low morale......the whole kerboodle.

But....previous HT quit suddenly - since then we've been on the up.

That's so good to hear @peakster - a relaxed and happy teacher can only mean that the pupils benefit that much more than when one is unhappy and stressed .
Three years to turn the school around is some going . Ours has been a very long slog and we still have some way to go .

May the improvements be long lasting :)

From the day our ex-HT quit the school has been better - we got an interim HT and then we were very lucky to appoint a fantastic permanent one - he has brought in a great team and the school has improved so much.

    It can happen.

I expect you are looking forward to the next round of Lesson Obs, Performance Management, Drop-ins and Initiatives.
    I do miss them.

I've never really been too fussed about observations and PM to be honest..
