Who gets to decide that? The original poster?
And are most Poms obsessed with class or perceived rank? Or is that just a little quirk of Red October's or whatever his name is?
I thought the bread ad was funny.

I think it was the ensuing Tory/Labour arguments that closed the thread. I could be wrong but it did get a bit heated.

You could start a thread about favourite jam flavours and SOME PEOPLE would turn it into a political rant.

Yes. jam is far too red! And it's jam jam jam tomorrow and never jam today with the X party. And why is it some people can afford to eat jam from Fortnum and Mason while the rest of us have to do with Sainsbury's basic cheapo brand?

    Sainsbury's you say? Sainsbury's!

Ours is from Aldi (but it is conserve!).

    Edited to add

It won't be going on Warburton's bread.

Why on earth close a thread about a bread advert on TV?
Have the mods got too much time on their hands?

  17. zizzyballoon

    zizzyballoon Star commenter

Because very little of the thread was about the bread advert on TV.

They are reactive rather than proactive, it just takes a complaint and there are some proper snowflakes on here at times.

    Just seen that.
Why can't posters stick to the topics?
    Bread/politics???

It was about Peter Kay working for a huge donor to the Tory Party... you cannot separate politics from life even if you want to.
