Thinking of moving to Sussex

Hello, I'm hoping to move out of London to Sussex this summer but there seems to be no primary teaching jobs out there.
It seems to be very different to London where there's always a turnover of staff.

I would be grateful for any advice!
Should I move and do supply initially as jobs are limited? Or should I contact schools directly with my CV?

    Thank you in advance.

Gosh, you really have been a lurker, haven't you? Don't worry: we don't bite that hard.
What experience do you have of teaching in London?
    Do you have references?

Don't expect to use the railway to get to work. Beware of poor seaside schools. Good luck!

I agree. A car is a must outside of Ldn. Thanks for the tip.

I managed without a car for years. At a poor seaside school too. One that I love.

In my part of Sussex, public transport links are quite good and will be better when the trains run reliably.

When do you suppose that will be? :)

It will happen at some point! Just maybe not in our lifetime!
