Thinking about America

I'm currently in my first year studying BA Creative Writing and I'm thinking about going into primary school teaching at the end of my degree and getting a PGCE. I've been thinking for years that it would be cool to work in America, but now I kind of have it set in my plans to go when I've finished my education because my boyfriend is from there and we want to live there together once we're both done with school.

Could someone please explain to me everything that you have to do to become a teacher over there? I'm not sure how any of it works despite all the research that I've done into it.

Thank you so much in advance!!!
