I wonder if there'll still be that really scary bean sprout in the opening sequence :)

Yeah I'll give it a shot but I gave up on the original at the end of series 7 when Duchovny exited.

Far as I know the end of season 7 resolved the aliens plot and then they brought in a new plot of 8+9...

Be interested to see how they updated it for our even more paranoid age.

I didn't even get as far as series 7 (I had to look back to check).
It lost it's way and reviving it won't help

Final episode of the series in only a few minutes from now, on Channel 5.

Duchovny these days looks like Jamie Oliver I think.

I think he looks like someone painted Mike Myer's face on to a balloon and then deflated it slightly.

Yip. I struggled my way through Episode 1 of the new series. Appallingly bad. It's been years since I've watched the x-files, but i really don't remember it being this awful. The acting was so stilted and wooden i wanted to climb inside the telly, push them out of the way and deliver their lines for them.

Watched episode 1 ... found it to be a mixed bag... episodes 2-6 are sat on the recorder box waiting.

    But other stuff is better.

If you insist on resurrecting the dead you will get zombies

Zombies are much more exciting to watch than Anderson and crew. By far.
Talking of Zombies, the next installment of The Walking Dead is due to finish being aired on the 3rd April. Can't wait. And new seasons of Better Call Saul, Banshee, Peaky Blinders and Ray Donovan all due this year. Yipee!

Thankfully it was a short series.
Only 2 episodes that were really worth watching and the 2nd of those left too much hanging. The rest were just fillers played for laughs.

It all just feels like a wasted opportunity.

    Shame really.
