Oooh I will swap - you can have a snotty baby for a while?

What are you going to Canada for and why are you worried about it?

  8. I am going with Ivylet for a family party - to celebrate 100 years since one set of my great grandparents arrived in Vancouver (leaving my grandmother in Scotland)

    I am worried about

    the flight

being trouble for the relatives we are staying with

using my debit and credit cards

whether Ivylet will have a good time

I am sure the relatives who have invited you to stay are really excited and happy to have you - hence the invite.

Flight...hmm well if you don't like flying that is a bit of a bummer, but flying is the safest way to travel.

I'm sure Ivylet will love it. If she moans remind her that loads of kids would love the chance to visit another country.

Debit and credit cards are the same to use the world over. Just check how much your bank charges you for using them overseas to withdraw cash. If you are really worried take traveller cheques.

Relax and enjoy it...I would swap places any day!

  10. Hi Ivy... I have used both credit and debit cards overseas and not had any problems... just do not let it out your sight.

Flight will be fine if you are worried buy some calms or rescue remedy.
  11. Got to admit to feeling worried.
