The World's Biggest Blogging Project

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by mitchelld, Jan 23, 2012.

  1. Whether you blog... Or whether you don't, this project should interest you.

Some of you (if you are on Twitter) may have seen this project but if you haven't it is going to be GOOD!

To mark the leap year http://feb29th.net will be open for one day only to capture blog posts from all over the globe from children and teachers. What is extra special about this site is that you will be able to leave blog posts on the site even if you don't have a blog. You won't need to log in, you'll just click 'blog' and you'll be able to leave a post. Each post will be moderated by a team of teachers throughout the day and the result will be a blog FULL of posts by many different people from many different cultures and countries.

I have personally seen children TRANSFORMED by the power of an audience, not only their attitude to learning but their attainment and progress shoot up too.

If you are interested in this project, please visit:

and leave your email address in the box provided.

If you are keen to find out more about blogging and how it has impacted the pupils at my school, please get in touch.
