The Wombles

  1. You may know this, but the creator of the Wombles died recently, maybe last week, on R4.. Opportunity for biography or obituary component?

    Was in a school two years ago where this was their theme & I delivered the MFL component where I used Wombles. I bought some cheap Wombles finger puppets and using Mme Cholet as the person we had to talk to using French. I thought the children enjoyed it.
