Is it too scary for a bright well-adjusted 5 yr old?
It's knocking 30 yrs since I had a 5 yr old of my own and I can't remember them being scared of anything I showed them, but dont want to inflict nightmares! I asked their father but he looked a bit blank. "They quite like witch things, " he said, but Room On The Broom is not quite the same league.

My recollection of the film is that the Witch could be scary for a 5 year old. I suggest you watch the film again first yourself and make a judgement - you know your child best.

I did, and yes, I think I'll give it a couple more years. Margaret Hamilton is truly terrifying!
