  3. My sympathies- a very difficult text to teach. Google it and see what comes up

I can't say I recommend them but they did come up first (pdfs) on JSTOR !
Layman "Equilibrium of Opposites in The White Devil" JSTOR .... I like the Machiavelli quote "to be an architect of fortune it was necessary to be an adept observer of the world".
Price "The Function of Imagery in Webster" JSTOR

I've got a study pack I made a while ago. I tried to load it onto here but there's too much. PM me and I'll email you a copy.

  6. Hi Sianna
Thanks for your contribution to our forums. I've deleted your posts as this would be better uploaded as a resource.
To avoid forum members posting email addresses publicly and to save you time emailing individuals, you could upload your resource and make it available to a larger number of teachers who would benefit
You can do this from this page: https://www.tes.co.uk/resourceUpload_step1.aspx

Thanks all for your advice-very helpful indeed with the JSTOR links:)
I compiled a few if any of you want them-just let me know.

In future, you may find it useful to look at Luminarium, http://www.luminarium.org a university site which has links to all major authors, texts, critics and so on. I use it all the time, esepcially when I am frustrated by not having access to JSTOR. The Webster critics page is http://www.luminarium.org/sevenlit/webster/webessay.htm and has plenty of articles from peer-reviewed journals on a variety of topics.
