In other news the Kepler space telescope has discovered 5700 exo-planets. Here is an artistic rendering of it's search area.
It's the rotation of the Earth that creates photos like that first one - the Universe goes outwards, for now.
Ah come on, everything in the universe is spinning...

...like a record, baby, right round.
New Hubble pic of the centre of the Milky Way
That's a bit pink and blobby for me. Plus, I think there's a large guinea pig in the middle trying to eat the universe.
This universe is, but others may not be.
Doesn't stop it spinning at the same time.
Careful, one of the god-botherers will drop in to say it's proof of their particular fairy tale...
I use to have a Guinea Pig like that!
Did Nazi Cat eat it?
Nazi Kat [new spelling to get across his wickedness] and BlackHole Pig were sadly separated by twenty odd years...
But Nazi Kat would have consumed of the piglet if he'd got the chance.
Maybe not so sadly separated then.
And I found another nice space picture... the Orion nebula
Not the Eye of Chaos [I suspect no-one will get that reference]
Is this a being watching you go round?
this is a nebula passing wind lol
