The TA tribe - nomadic, serene and endangered?

Discussion in 'Teaching assistants' started by gailrobinson, Apr 3, 2011.

  1. I have used the term 'a travelling, wandering race' to describe myself and my trusty band of SEN followers as we are moved from room to room to accommodate more important events than our Literacy session - so 'nomads' seems quite appropriate to me.
Some very accurate points within the light-hearted tone of this article - well done, Stephen Petty.
  2. I like Stephen Petty.
  3. Nomadic- yes, I am always losing stuff as I move between classrooms.
Endangered-sadly, yes. Easier to lose a TA than other school staff.
Serene- Are you kidding!! Underneath the Mona Lisa smile we are all flapping wildly!
