Arguably one of the most exciting bands of the seventies and eighties. I photographed them rather poorly from the very back using a telephoto lens, and here are a few of those shots, early 1982

    Some sort of stage invasion

For a punk/new wave band they were all very decent musicians

This concert I remember quite well, and Golden Brown was played.

I still play them sometimes, when I need loud, stupid music.

Having members who were variously members of a military band, and classically trained as well as jazz blues roots - this is very true.

I find that Status Quo is best for that.

    AC/DC - sir Henry !

One of the few gigs I've seen that I giggled through most of it because they were co c**p.

My ears are a Status Quo- free zone.

We saw the Quo in B/Ham just before Xmas. Great!

But even better they were supported by Wilco Johnson! I had no idea he was the support. Great surprise.

You should have seen Dr Feelgood in their day - very good.

I didn't get to see them. One of the bands I sadly missed. Apart from some Old Grey Whistle test. Would have loved to have seen them but at that time of my life I was too snowed under by - you've probably guessed it - the **** of teaching. Didn't get to do much other than teaching.
