Have you seen the video of how easy it is to sneak illegals into the country?
Leave.EU Campaign Sneaks ‘Migrants’ Into UK To Highlight Porous Borders
A shocking new video from Leave.EU shows how easy it is for migrants to cross the Channel from France to enter the UK illegally. The campaign’s press release revealed that in 2015 alone the UK granted 20,000 of these illegal migrants leave to remain because of European Union (EU) rules that make us powerless to deport them.
Starting from Gravelines harbour, which lies between Calais and Dunkirk in France, the video shows a man on a boat picking up three would-be-migrants. The harbour is totally deserted, and the man points out this means there’s “no attention from anyone whatsoever, and the whole thing’s looking good”.
Approaching Folkestone Harbour, in Kent, he remarks how the crossing was “an easy feat by anyone’s standards.” He tells the camera: “OK, so we’re home in the UK. To get here, a two and a half hour trip, in moderate weather.
“With me, I’ve brought three people who want to get into the UK, They’re here now, and they will get in. We’ve been unopposed all the way over from the other side and nobody’s thought to stop us or do anything about it.
“That’s how easy it it to bypass immigration and borders in the UK.”
Mooring the boat, the man points out the shocking lack of even the most basic measures to deter migrants. He says of the completely unattended harbour, “No harbour master, no police, no customs, nothing,” musing he could easily be running his our touring business the journey is so easy.”
The camera shows at Folkestone Harbour there’s just a sign saying “visiting mooring”, with a phone number. The man comments that “no one is going to stop me, no one is going to think it’s unusual, this is broad daylight. I could do this whenever I liked.
“Three guys dropped, from a rig, unopposed, absolutely nothing stopping me from doing that, or even a raised eyebrow from anyone watching.”
Leave.EU spokesman Jack Montgomery blamed the state of affairs on cutting public spending by £36 billion as Britain paid out £42 billion (net) to the EU.
“Slashing border security was a choice, made by politicians who put their loyalty to the EU above the needs of the public,” Mr Montgomery said.
Henry Bolton OBE — former head of Border Security at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) — revealed that the EU makes it almost impossible to deport illegal immigrants who arrive in this way.
Leave.EU’s press release outlines why this is the case and warns the only way to regain control of our borders is to vote to leave the EU:
“We are not allowed to send [illegal migrants] back to France, as we could outside the EU – instead, they have to be returned to the country they entered the EU from.
“Often it is impossible to find out where this was, and the procedure is so complex that the Home Office has to give up.” Twenty-thousand illegal immigrants were granted leave to remain as these EU rules in 2015 alone, and the situation will not improve if we remain.”
Earlier this month De Standaad reported that Belgian drones have recorded a major spike in migrants crossing the channel from Belgium to the UK. It says the majority are Iranians, followed by Eritreans, Moroccans and Algerians.

Rally says Convoy to Calais will head off as planned and demand entry to France

"A rally in central London to send off the Convoy to Calais, which is due to leave early tomorrow morning (Saturday 18th June) attracted around 200 people. Some 250 vehicles will set out to take money and supplies to the refugee camp known as “the Jungle” near Calais.
The French authorities have threatened not to let the convoy in, but speaker after speaker vowed to defy the ban. During the meeting news came through that the French government has ratified the ban. Organisers said that the convoy will go to Dover and demand the right to take aid to the refugees. The French government will not be allowed to pretend the refugees and the crisis are not present."

Let Aid For Refugees Pass – Convoy to Calais
This entry was posted in News on June 20, 2016
Their even demanding the French government foot the bill for the cost of ferry tickets, that the British police not 'collude' with the French police to stop the convoys and that the British government ensure they help them to force the French government to allow them into the country !! What planet do these people live on??
"The Convoy to Calais, on Saturday 18 June 2016, was refused entry into France. Over 250 vehicles carrying many tonnes of much needed aid for refugees in the ‘Jungle Camp’ were turned away at the border by the French authorities. The reasons given for refusing the convoy entry were spurious, including the ‘State of Emergency’, football hooliganism and the threat of terrorist attack. None of these had any connection with our humanitarian mission. While two lorries and a handful of cars and vans managed to get through, less than half of the aid collected was delivered
The organisers of the Convoy to Calais made it clear to the French authorities that there was no intention to cause any disruption or hold any kind of demonstration or protest, when in France. This was a convoy delivering aid and solidarity to some of the poorest and most vulnerable people on the planet who governments across Europe are trying to forget.
– A guarantee that all future aid convoys will be allowed to travel into France and that there is no racial profiling of any attendees
– A full refund from the French Government for the cost of the ferry tickets for those that couldn’t travel. This will be donated to the charities in Calais helping the refugees (unless an individual requests the money back)
– That the French government provides funds to ensure that the rest of the aid collected is transported to Calais
– That the British Police force should not collude with, or aid, the French authorities in stopping any future convoys
– That the British government support these demands and help us ensure that the French government take these actions"

I think they deserve a little more sympathy and understanding. Here's a good primer for anyone who wants to gain a better appreciation of them:
Be even easier after Brexit...we won't get any help from the French!
After Brexit they'll only have to go to Kent, because that's where the new 'jungle' will be...
So you're saying that if we vote to to leave the EU, nobody will be able to board a small boat at Gravelines and sail to a remote unobserved spot on the English coast any more? Why?
House prices will crash!
There are lots of things you can hate the EU for, but the Calais mess isn't one of them.
I think the idea that they have is that the EU is preventing them from deporting any illegal immigrants and if the UK were to leave, the illegal immigrants would be deported immediately.
The reality is not even close. Firstly there is a big bureaucratic process whether you can deport them or not - it's not like they're sent on the next boat.
Secondly, all that will happen is they will destroy their passports upon entry in to the UK. Then what will the UK do? Put some arm bands on them and push them back in to the sea hoping they float to wherever it is they came from? How will they know where to send them? They will have to build detainment camps, i.e. UK 'jungles'
One with better grammar?
Even the daily fail admits this (for the 2am cut/paste crowd, not 'cut/paste' for the rest of us)
It took over ten years to deport this guy and then, he was found not guilty by various courts in Jordan and released....at a cost of millions to the UK taxpayer.
I expect that a few of our resident armchair sceptics will be along shortly to dispute the power of eyewitness testimony. They did a bang-up job with the several eye-witness testimonies that the murderer of Jo Cox MP shouted 'Britian First' as he shot, stabbed and kicked her to death.
