The role of a head teacher

Discussion in 'Secondary' started by blueapple, Mar 12, 2011.

  1. Should head teachers be there on Parents' Evenings and Results' Day? Our head teacher does not bother with either and is often off site at ' meetings...' We also have zero staff voice. Please tell me if this is typical ? I feel that if you are leading a school you should be there most of the time - the staff are getting very frustrated. Would welcome some views. Is our head teacher typical ?
