The queen's nose -novel study

  1. Thinking of reading the queen's nose as a novel study with my 9 year olds. Has anyone done this - how did it go?

I read The Queens Nose with a year 4 class recently as part of storytime. Their concentration drifted in parts eg. the comparisions of all the characters to animals, which went a bit over their heads, but when the story got going, they enjoyed it. It wasn't anyones favourite book of the year, though. The TV series is great.

  4. Thanks MissP That's helpful. What age are year 4s?
