Pah! A pox upon your powers of observation, EG!
Anyway, upon closer examination, it appears to be a crumb of potato, not a dribble.

It still shouldn't be there, Nick! [IMG]
And what on earth is a "pox"?

It means a curse, or a plague...

  4. Here's you lot discussing dribbles and crumbs whilst little old me is wondering who on earth can eat that much meat in one go...(well, nick can, obviously [IMG])

    Thanks Si.
    A thousand apologies, Miss EG.
If I'd realised this was Masterchef, I'd have tried harder.
I've punished myself accordingly, with 50 lashes.

You know what? I'm craving meat like crazy some days (today, for instance!) so I could quite happily munch through a portion double that size (but that would be greedy)!

There were only 3 lamb chops in there, Si. Medium sized ones. It's probably the curve of the rib bones making it stand proud of the plate that makes it looks like loads. Mrs909 ate all hers too, which suggests there wasn't a vast amount there.

Hopefully (if my digital camera works), I will be posting a picture of my special brownies when I whip up a batch tomorrow...that is if I can find it!

    Haven't had those since I was a student...[IMG]

  13. Are we confusing you? I am CQ [IMG]
I know lamb can look deceptive - there is usually less meat on the bone than you think.

  14. Guffaw - I was about to say the same thing [IMG]
I shall be taking some piccies soon - or rather, son will, he is the one with the funky slr digital camera and all the knowledge about light, perspective and all that gobbins.
He also knows how to upload photos. Good job as I am rubbish at it!
