Lovely! It has quite a bit in common with our living/dining room. We have a set of bookshelves on one wall, lots of oak but a stove instead of an open fire. I love their ladder. There is something missing though. I like to accessorise with some dogs strewn around the floor and on the sofa.

It's a bit tidy and there aren't enough books. Can I add a bean bag, a laptop and a great big telly?

It would make me feel claustrophobic. And it's far too woody and I don't like the seating arrangement. What's the ladder for? No, no, no. Not for me. Far too posy and it hasn't got enough colour.

I like the window seat. It reminds me of the pods in Holyrood.

    I am.
I wouldn't even mind if it was fixed to the wall.
Ideally it would be surrounded by a selection of vintage and modern games consoles so that I could effortlessly flick between real MarioKart, Goldeneye, Halo and Animal Crossing.
And I want a big skylight so I can look at the stars.

I could live with it but the window seat would only be useful in the summer. One side would get chilly in the winter so near to all that glass. I'd like a big sofa with squashy cushions.

Art deco cocktail bar down one wall.

Would your "telly" be for a wall? Don't think there's enough free wall space.

It too wooden and not at all comfortable..if i was to use it as a study id need more space to put all my junk in! :)
As it stands its not comfortable...needs an easy chair to sit in and i don t like window seats.i would have preferred an armchair in there

I agree with everything you have said except for the bit about enough colour. I prefer washed-out pale Scandi shades. But with an edge. Eclectic is good.

Don't like it at all. Far too much wood.

It looks like a captain's cabin.

I like it. Desk is too small though, needs to be facing the window, at least 2 monitors, reclining adjustable chair and I like the idea of a big skylight.

    Love it.

Good place to spend the winter.
