  1. AQA The Making of Modern Britain, 1951–2007

Is anyone teaching this AQA 'A' level unit? My colleagues are about to start teaching this and we have been searching for interesting resources... any help appreciated! Glad I'm sticking to IB this year!
    Thanks

I teach this too, it's not an easy unit by far and resources are unbelievably scarce! Message me and we could swap ideas/resources?

  3. Hi Craig, have messaged you - thanks!

  4. The Andrew Marr series the history of modern britain is excellent. I have been using it to teach my A2 students about protest and it really does get to the heart of what Britain was like. Failing this Michael Lynch overview book does offer quite a few good points on Britain upto 1999 and can be easily adapted.
    Hope this helps.

Yes, those were our two key resources! I think my Colleagues have started to fathom it out, I have retreated into the depths of IB to avoid the fallout!
