OK, folks, it's time to exercise your creativity and pretentiousness! Shall I begin?

    The leaves are falling,
A great nation will fall too!
    If we don't vote 'Out!'.

    We heeded the call
    Saying, "Get a new leader!"
    The answer? 'true, d'oh'

I thought at first Haiku was the same as making paper ornaments but then remembered that was origami.

    Good one! I like it.

    Swim swim swim fast away
    The island is sinking
Submerging beneath the ocean of regulations.

That last line won't do. Mojo.

    I'm sick of James Bond:
    Formula film at its worst.
    The quest for more cash.

    Heavenly half term!
    Christmas shopping to begin.
    Bummer! Kids are off.

I can only allow this one so far. 3 lines, 5/7/5 syllables and an extra star for the kigo or seasonal reference.

    I do wish I could.
