Yum - they look really good. Will you be making them again?
If there are spare portions of any of those creations, I can find a good home for Them!
Well done Flere!
Lilac. They look wonderful
Flere . I'd like to artiste the pie. It looks scrumptious.
Am struggling (yet again) with the next challenge. I have no imagination.
Will spend tomorrow waiting for new washing machine to be delivered, so shall have lots of time to think and be creative
Not expecting any enlightenment though
oooh-well done Flere.
Have done my baking for the next challenge.
I think so. On a colder day the pastry might have stayed a bit stiffer. The recipe said to shape them round a tin but it was easier to pleat them without the tin. I was just getting the hang of it when I ran out of pastry!
I haven't even thought properly yet. If I have a week like this week it'll be last minute tarte tatin!
The pie recipe is the second one here if anyone wants it. They are very tasty. I ignored her advice and made the pastry.
Did you use hot water crust or short crust?
Bloody hell look at that colour!
Short crust. Never made hot water pastry.
Looks very good... but...
Where's the meat?
Wot Lizzie said
No wonder it was tricky!
I have never made hot water crust either.
Neither have I. Perhaps that should be the next challenge.
Are you suggesting a technical round as well as the show stopper?
No- instead of.
