The 'GOT TO GET THAT BOOK' thread for Art Teachers

Discussion in 'Art and design' started by Kitschwitch, Dec 7, 2011.

  1. Am hoping for some recommendations - looking for amazingly useful books that Art Teachers love and treasure for my Christmas stocking. Available on Amazon preferably!
To kick off, this is my current absolute favourite - a book by Valerie Colston - '200 Projects to get you into Art School'. SO much more than its title, I've kept it close by all term and it's proved invaluable for ideas and inspiration - something new for those KS3 lessons or developmental strategies for KS4.

    Who's going to be next??

  3. The NSEAD have loads of books that are worth buying. I really like this one though:

  4. This is a good one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Inspiring-Learning-Environments-Create-Display/dp/1407125265/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1324464771&sr=8-1, very colourful and fun.
