Having watched the first 45 minutes of the Man Utd - Chelsea game, that was a more exciting display by Chelsea than any I saw last season. Go Frank!

I have no expectations for them this season - let's just see how it goes.

I agree - but it's been an enjoyable game, whatever the score.

There were empty seats and it was estimated that around 5000 were missing.

Bruce showed how tactically inept he was. God help us at Norwich!

He's used to managing at a certain level - silly appointment.

I managed to end up with 87 points this week - my highest score ever I think.

Bruce is 8/1 with my local bookies to be sacked before Christmas.

    Those are not generous odds

He's at that level with the Newcastle squad.

He got Birmingham into the Premier League twice and up to 4th
He got Wigan to an 11th place finish in the Premier League
He got Sunderland to 13th in the Premier League
He got Hull into the Premier League twice, a 16th place finish, an FA Cup final and into the Europa League

Better than Benitez managed with Newcastle....

I like the guy - but his sides are the epitome of mid table mediocrity.

    He also got Hull relegated.

    Something Newcastle are aspiring to.

    Sorry @Jesmond12

Just staying in the Premier League is a real achievement these days

Not that Cambridge are any better..

I genuinely cannot remember when we last scored a goal at home

The glamour of the lower leagues....

There is an amusing story about Newport's trip to Cambridge in one of the Welsh newspapers. Apparently Newport travelled up from South Wales on Saturday morning (it's about a 5 hour trip) and when they were underway realized they had no food on board so they had to detour to a service station near Reading to get some. Then once they arrived - they had the wrong kit - fortunately it didn't clash so they were able to wear it.

    No wonder they were terrible.

Another great game to watch tonight. Chelsea more than matched Liverpool, and the result could have gone either way. Kante is just fantastic. Wish we'd kept hold of Salah, though!

We may have lost - just - but it's still promising, and, most of all, enjoyable, unlike last season's bore-fest. Looking forward to Sunday's game v Leicester, though that will be no pushover.

Well done Cambridge, a win and two goals - although it was away.

Wildcard activated for FPL. Pukki and De Bruyne in- Perez and Vardy out even though they have not played yet.

I am going for the Steve Bruce style of management ie tactically inept and clueless!

Norwich looked good against Liverpool last week and that result could have been different if they'd put a couple of early chances away. Not all that surprised at their result today. Buendia, Pukki and Stiepermann look good players.
