Manchester City: Ruining football since 2008
Man City didn't have the distraction of midweek games in the Champions League.
If they continue to improve though, they might end up winning it two years running like Liverpool and Notts Forest. If they're allowed in it next year of course...
City were in the CL until April though...
...along with a busy schedule, having being involved in the domestic cups until the end of each tournament.
But with a very large squad.
I just hope Cit's dominance doesn't get like Celtic in Scotland.
What do you win for that?
Can someone please explain this to me: why do they decide on the venue for the Europa Cup and Champions League cup so far in advance? This year once the semi-finals were completed it would have been sensible for Chelsea vs Arsenal to play at Wembley and Liverpool vs Sours at somewhere like Aston Villa's ground.
I have just read that Mkhitaryan can't play for Arsenal in Baku for safety/security reasons, that can't be right. The hotels and flight companies have been taking the p*** and think about all the carbon emissions.
Just tell UEFA we are playing these final matches in England - end of.
Statue of Cyrille Regis, Brendan Batson, and Laurie Cunningham unveiled in West Brom today!
''Brendon Batson with The Three Degrees statue after the unveiling''
Great players - all of them.
Well worth a watch, all three on top form and some great goals:
Really hope Newport County get promoted into League 1 next season
I can't stand them.
Coongratulations to Tranmere Rovers - I am so glad I won't have to put up with the behaviour of some of your supporters in League 2 next season.
Hooligans and bootboys
Today's match will hopefully be a thriller.
Oh my goodness
Glory days again for CAFC - well done the reds!
The sounds of "I'm just a kid again doing what I did again..." took me right back to winning promotion in 1975 when we all ran on on the pitch in jubilation.
Charlton have had few glory days; they were never a side to win in the last minute. Normally it was a case of being 2 - 0 up and losing the game in the last five minutes.
When they won in the last minute of the match today my jaw bounced off the floor.
It's a long time since I was a regular at the Valley, but I'm delighted for them today and wish them a happy and successful next season.
Edit: I do feel for the Sunderland players and fans, it must be said.
Charlton were the better side and deserved the win today
Errr no - well done Charlton from an NUFC fan.
Not a NUFC fan but I just cant stand the Mackems!
Not raising my hopes just yet
