    Exactly.
And don't forget Denis Law & Joe Jordan.
    So where's the current crop?

I think most of it is due to the poor standard in scottish league football

Then the good young players (there must be SOME) would surely be snapped up by other teams?

Wales doesn't have any league teams, except Cardiff & Swansea, but they produce good players (yes, I know some aren't Welsh by birth / upbringing, but that's equally true of Scotland)....as do the RoI and NI, both with no league football on the par with the English leagues, and in the case of NI, a MUCH smaller population.

Is Newport no longer in wales?

Yes, I thought of them but believed they were no longer a league club.
    I was wrong - Division 2.
    Apologies.

Wrexham should be back in League two next year as well

If Chelsea lose at Cardiff then Sarri must be sacked - he should have gone some time ago.

They had a really good FA cup campaign leading to plenty of publicity.

Their form of late has been poor. They will have to rely on the play offs which are a bit of a lottery at best.

But they should get in - the conference is very tough to get out of. Especially as there are several new and well financed clubs in there.

The standard of League two is hardly stellar though.

Macclesfield went up as champions last season have found the League 2 standard to be a bit beyond them.

Because they are not very good - I don't think they were well prepared. Tranmere have done very well.

Chelsea won I think - the first goal was miles offside

    Sack him anyway

Just seen a replay of the first goal - absolutely miles off side - how did that happen.

I know - but non-league teams often make good progress in the FA Cup.

Everyone probably enjoyed Scott Brown getting decked.

They beat Leicester and Middlesbrough before going out in the 5th round to Man City. Slightly better than a flukey giant killing which is usually the case with non league teams.
