    Anyone miss this?
I kind of miss it....gave me something to look at from time to time.
Am guessing we will lose some posters who seemed to live on Opinion, some of whom will be missed and others who won't.
There were some good threads, but many were just irritating or downright inflammatory. I certainly won't miss the gay teachers and tattoos threads....yawn!
    What do others think?

    Tattoo??? I must've missed that.

The gay thing? Also big, fat yawny-yawn.

It's like Fawlty Towers. Don't mention the 'gay'!!!!

It is GDW....don't mention the ***! LOL!
There have been loads of tattoo threads over the years....all slagging off anyone who dares express their individuality by inking so much as a pinpoint behind their left ear!

Personal is likely to host Opinion type threads, alongside the usual Personal type threads, perhaps?

That would be quite good really, I think.

It's bound to happen? Isn't it?

Well, that's a most intriguing avatar, Eury. Not one I would have chosen for you in a million, zillion!

I don't miss Opinion. it was more tedious than interesting as a rule but I dare say some of that will leak on to Personal. We will see.

Napoleon had some very good qualities, Grumpy. I'm just like him, except I'm not ruthless or ambitious lol

I think we'll see Personal Opinion start to emerge but I reckon moderation will be swift and rigorous, and rightly so. Lessons have been learned, I daresay.

I've just had to log in (again) to reply.

Let's be honest, this forum will become the opinion forum.

Having visited Fontainebleau earlier this month I can't say I was impressed by Napoleon's taste in home decor - like Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen on LSD. They've got his personal bidet on display there. Napoleon's that is, not Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen's.

Oops, can I say bidet? Is that too close to a***?

I have nearly finished decorating my study in fact. I have gone for Game of Thrones meets late renaissance, complete with antique Jacobean wood panelling and ceiling mural of the "Allegory of Spring" with gold frame, and ancient oak panelled studded door.

Too masculine for LLB. Too faux for Bony.

I do hope you don't intend to do Lloyd Grossman, who I was reliably informed used to look through the keyhole and talk about what he saw through his **** hole.
