No, I've got my act together today. Been listening throughout.

I can't be blamed for batsmen simply behaving like idiots!

    Bairstow hits century.

Another Yorkshire Cricketing Ace rescues England.

    SL 81 - 6.
They must want to finish this one early.

I was considering going up to Durham next week for the second Test. I have had a rethink.

A lovely ground overlooked by Lumley Castle. I was brought up around there.

It's 8:15 in the morning and we have yesterday's play on repeat here.

Anderson & Broad 800 test wickets between them = Dominant.

    No disrespect (to Durham) but:

    Sri Lanka
    chance of rain
    chance of seeing much play
chance of freezing my assets off
chance of Sri Lanka not capitulating

It's not a great prospect, is it?

Glad to see Jimmy back on form. Glad Bairstow got his ton. Otherwise? Well, as Sir Geoffrey says - you can only play who they put in front of yer. All a bit of a damp squib really.

    But well done.

    3 - 0.

I suppose, if the weather remains benign, it could be 2 - 0. It's about time we had a draw. We so rarely get a draw these days.

And Blowers is back. He's been on air for a minute and already mis-identified a fielder! Business as usual.

England 164-5. Cook out for 85. Considering we are meant to be 400 for no wicket at this point, things aren't going to plan!

On a docile track! Against dibbly-dobbly bowling.

We have to find some batsmen. Soon.

For underarm bowling they should be playing French Cricket.
