    ,,,the mice will play,

What with lockdown and lots more working from home and - in my wifes case - no more trips away to conference for a while, I've been cooking for two since February. There are certain things that Mrs Tujeste really doesnt eat so I dont cook them for two.

So, whats your hidden secret meal that you have when your all alone?

    Mines liver.

Chicken wings. Spicy, little bits of tender flesh to gnaw off the bone. Or anything too pippy, such as a tray of tomatoes roasted with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, chilli, garlic and rosemary and stirred through pasta.

Mussels. Mr BS ate them when poorly once and has been put off them.

Just a simple pasta and pesto is a joy for me. So easy too.

Hmmm...a few. Various offal, certainly. Definitely mussels and numerous other bivalves. But mainly...aubergines!

    Great idea for a thread!

Tinned tuna. mayonnaise, sweetcorn and bread-sticks. C hates tuna so this is a real indulgent treat. Or lamb mince, garlic, lardons and passatta.
    Nigella calls it 'bowl food'
