...is 'populist rhetoric' and 'false associations', apparently.

During the discussion that followed, Mr Juncker’s team stressed “the importance of the Commission's continuing to play its coordinating role and sounding the voice of reason to defuse tensions and counter populist rhetoric.”

They called for “the unconditional rejection of false associations between certain criminal acts, such as the attacks on women in Cologne on New Year's Eve, and the mass influx of refugees.”

Well, I guess it was either that or admit 'Geez, we really screwed this up and we have no idea what we're doing'.

And that's just the extent of what is actually being reported.

    The European Union.

Unelected law/regulation makers and enforcers who remain unaccountable and indifferent to their mistakes, their citizens and their countries. Over paid, talentless and wasteful.

But the "populist rhetoric" does scares me ... not a huge amount, but it needs keeping an eye on.

Juncker is quite keen on 'big threats'.

    In November it was IS.
In May he was running scared of Grexit.

    He's a very fearful fellow is Jean-Claude.
