I really like this dress, but can women ‘of a certain age’ get away with leopard print, or would I look like mutton dressed as lamb? 0EE921E9-3648-4ACE-BB10-B6B8EE80AF07.png

Hmm. My 34 yr old daughter wore a maxi leopard print dress and a bloke shouted "Get back to the jungle!"
It might have been a clumsy attempt to chat her up.
    She took it back.

Such a dress is perfectly nice as long as you keep the rest neutral (no other pattern). Looks nice with thick black tights and boots rather than shoes as to make it a more modern, casual look. I would wear a long black cardie with it.

    Wear it. You'll look roarsome!;);)
No, really - it's a modern take on the print. Black tights etc as already mentioned would be lovely.

You shouldn't have loaned it to her;)

Oh, if it looks OK to you, wear it. it's not short or plunging, it looks a fairly conventional dress.

Do it and use this line every time you wear it.

Women of a certain age? Only women of a certain age! Love it x

Thank you everyone! I would definitely wear it with black tights. I’m all about the comfort these days and it looks like it would feel nice on. I think I’ll go for it! :)

Don't forget to accessorize with a huge wooden club, a necklace made of teeth and a bone through your hair :)

No seriously - you go for it. If you could see the ridiculous shirt I bought on the day I retired you wouldn't worry about leopard skin at 'a certain age', believe me.

I am distracted by the thought that, although the model is presumably fairly slim, the dress makes her look pregnant. Since I already tend to look that way :( despite not being pregnant, I would leave it alone and look for a better cut dress. The leopard skin print is fine.

Needs a few tattoos to set it off.

Very on-trend. I too have been wearing animal print (in small doses) because I still have a load of it from the last time it was current!

Go for it - I love animal print! These days, age doesn't matter and does anyone really think of Bet Lynch these days? If you do buy it, let us know (maybe even a photo? Without your head showing....)
