    No Grafitti = Outstanding
    Some Graffiti = Good
    Lots of graffiti but all spelled correctly and drawings anatomically correct = Satisfactory
    Lots of graffiti but many mis-spellings =Notice to improve
    Drawing of *** optimistically large = Failed

    Lunch time

    Outstanding - pupils eat in a tidy area, and use table manners
    Good - Students eat fairly well and don't make too much of a mess
    Satisfactory - students manages to get the food in his mouth 2 out of 3 attempts
    Notice - Pig style troughs are used for swill
    Fail - Lunch = fag and bottle of white lightning or local equivalent.

    Just take every jobsworth inspector on holiday to Komodo Island in the Far East and forget to bring them back.

  5. Playtime:
    Outstanding: all children play nicely and use all play equipment in the manner for which it was intended.
    Good: Some children show signs of behaving like children and there is just a small element of name calling, scuffling and innovative use of play equipment.
    Satisfactory: Many children display advanced signs of being children and there is a fair amount of name calling, scuffling and somewhat adventurous (and occasionally ill-advised) use of play equipment.
    Fail: Children play like children and there is much evidence of name calling, scuffling and outlandish (freqently ill-advised) use of play equipment.
  6. Staff toilets:
    Outstanding: Andrex quilted toilet roll, Jo Malone liquid soap and handcream. White organic cotton hand towels changed several times a day. Slow closing loo seats.
    Good: Tesco finest toilet roll , M+S liquid soap and handcream. Electric hand dryers. Fitted toilet seats.
    Satisfactory: Asda toilet roll (pink), Asda's own brand liquid soap and handcream. Cold air hand dryer. Wonky toilet seat.
    Inadequate: Shiny Izal toilet roll, slab of carbolic soap, towel on a roll thingy - several days old. No toilet seat!

    Outstanding: Fresh coffee in the percolator, range of herbal and exotic teas (not teabags), croissants, Danish pastries and range of fruit. Staff relaxed, chatting, list of staff excursions and dos on board
    Good: Kenco Gold, Teabags. Waitrose biscuits and full container of milk in fridge. Most staff in at lunch, shared ideas for good practise on board, Christmas party plans on board.
    Satisfactory: Nescafe, Cheap teabags, No biscuits, Milk half empty and no spare milk. Some staff in at lunch but in desperate need of coffee. Action plans on board. Notes to teachers about handing in planning and APP please
    Inadequate: Own tea or coffee. Few staff in except for panicked member of staff at photocopier. Several staff leaving dos on board. Board mentions names of 3 or more supply teachers in for the week.Board covered with Action plans, APP demands, planning demands, requests from subject co-ordinators for plans, lists of observations, times when SIP will be in, staff pigeonholes overflowing with memos and requests, copies of vacancy lists spread around.
