If you've heard of this it's supposed to be something significant in public usage of technology.

So 90% Window, 9% Apple Mac, 1% Linux

Anyway, seems to apply to threads.

    90% views, 9% replies... 1% useful?

    Just a thought.

3.14159 is about the most I can remember.

How about 90% views, 9% replies, 1% sensible?

Actually, those percentages could probably be used to describe my own posting habits, never mind everyone else.

I can never remember pi as a decimal. It's always 22/7
    to me.

    Edit: Bah! Can't type fractions

    To be pedantic:
As an improper fraction 22/7 is an exact value whereas 3.142 is a rounded decimal.
In terms of the ratio (circumference : diameter) 22/7 is an approximation, a very close one at that and the decimal will be correspondingly inaccurate too.

    1. Pi is an irrational number and cannot be represented as an 'improper fraction'.
    2. As an approximation for Pi, 22/7 does nothing more than improve upon 3 but falls short of 333/106.
    3. 22/7 has a value to three decimal places of 3.143.
    4. The value of Pi itself to three decimal places is 3.142.
    5. Jacob knows Pi better than you.
