a series of poems - rapture by carol ann duffy
shakespeare - we are such stuff as dreams are made of (or something like that) ... romeo and juliet hamlet king lear (his daughters in particular) a midsummer night's dream the tempest much ado about nothing macbeth ...

  3. I suppose Macbeth is about hopes and dreams, and how they can go wrong....

  4. Charlotte Keatley's 'My Mother Said I Never Should' and 'Death of a Salesman' would make a good combination...also Williams' 'Streetcar'

  5. Thanks for all those suggestions, they're great. We already studied Gatsby this year so they'll be able to use that too. I don't know the Charlotte Keatley text, but I'll get myself a copy and have a read. Thanks for all your help!

  6. Midsummer Night's Dream?

  7. Cat on a hot tin roof...? Street car is really good too. Midsummer Night's Dream is good. Othello could be studied too.
