Is the result affected by the speed of your internet connection?

I am in the top 5% - which surprised me as I messed 2 up.

19th percentile. No idea as it is testing your finger response not your foot on brake response.

    Well, it's a rough guide.

It's your brain (visual area) triggering some kind of a response.

I know I did this with some of my KS 5 students and one lass consistently registered about 3 seconds!!!!! I didn't really need that to alert me to the fact she probably wouldn't ever be safe on the road but it's interesting, I think.

Top 5% my backside (not my first choice of comparative). All my results started with a 4.
I am known for my general lack of coordination and complete klutziness so God help the other 95%.

Consistently around the 30% mark. No idea if that's good enough.

But according to the second reaction time link I have the reaction time of a 45 year old.

    Seemingly yes
I tried this through two different connections with ten attempts on either and the high speed (virgin) results averaged out significantly faster than the bog standard slow net I have at home

I was a sluggish snail 3 times and then tried extra hard and was a bobbing bobcat. I don't think I could ever get addicted to it though.

    Ah, that makes sense.

I've only got an old netbook thing, but I have got Virgin.
So I wasn't as good as I thought!

"In addition to measuring your reaction time, this test is affected by the latency of your computer and monitor. Using a fast computer, wired mouse, and low latency / high framerate monitor will improve your score somewhat."

    I'm 24. I think I like that test.
