TES Weekend Workshop - Child Protection - Saturday 21st April

  1. This half-day workshop, on Saturday 21st April, 2012, will benefit anyone who works with children or comes into contact with children. It will focus on the legal framework, policies and procedures, types of child abuse; how to spot potential signs and how to respond if a child discloses.
    The workshop will include a variety of training methods including a formal presentation, informal group discussions and the exploration of a variety of child protection scenarios and case studies to review best practice. Handouts, links to organisations and resources will also be provided.
